New Light Weight Round Power Handle For Penn Int'l 955 & 965 BaitCaster Reels.

The knob and handle blank are constructed from 6061 Aluminum.  The hollow aluminum knob,47MM (1.85") in diameter, is extremely light weight and incredibly comfortable. The handle blank is 3" in length. The length being longer than the original, it provides for greater torque.  The knob and handle blank comes in BLACK only.

NOTE: Please be aware I have been advised by one of my customers that the drive shaft of some of the older 965/955 reels may not perfectly fit my handle blank that i provide for the 965/955 handle. The holes on the handle blank are a bit too narrow. however, my customer has used a small file to enlarge the hole(s), a simply task he has advised.

Attaching the Knob to the Handle Blank:

To attach the knob to the handle blank, you must first unscrew the two halves of the knob.   Using 2 screw drivers, remove the bottom screw assembly from within the internal pin.  

 

Place a small amount of Loctite Blue 242 into the opening of the internal pin.  Attach the  screw assembly thru the handle blank hole into the pin. With 2 screw drivers, tighten the pin with the bottom screw assembly. Place the top half together with the bottom half.

Mounting Screws May Be LEFT HANDED!
